What can I say but "Thank You". Footstar Orthotics. You allowed my to be the best I could be.

Sidelined with plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis my Olympic career was in jeopardy. I tried years of over the counter arch supports and pads but nothing worked. When I got out of bed in the morning I felt like I was 80 years old. Then I discovered Footstar Orthotics! Within days my pain started to subside. I started to enjoy working out again. I wear my Footstar Orthotics in my track spikes as well as my sledding shoes, not to mention my everyday sneakers. I can't...excuse me I won't go without them!

Two years ago one of my knees was causing me excruciating pain and I had great difficulty even walking.I made the rounds of several orthopedic surgeons and the physician who made the diagnosis of my ailment, one of the outstanding knee specialists in Connecticut, told me that he thought that orthotics would go far toward resolving my problem. He recommended that I try Footstar Orthotics, who he considered to be the best in  the country  at what he does. Sure enough, after using Footstar's Orthotics for several weeks, there was an extraordinary improvement in my condition. Two years later, my knee is still pain free. I want to take this opportunity to say thank you for the change you have made in our  lives. Before seeing you my husband, Robert, could do very little walking after his accident 16 years ago. At  64 years old he was unable to do anything that required a significant amount of standing or walking.

My name is Jonathan Williams and for the past 4 months, I have been running across the United States. I started on May 8th from Newport Beach, CA and finished on September 10th in Newport, RI. I average about 30 miles a day 6 days a week, with my longest day being 56 miles.  The trip has been an amazing experience, full of meeting amazing people and seeing beautiful sights, but it has also put an enormous strain on my legs.  I would not have been able to start the trip nor come this far in the trip without the support of Matt Arciuolo and Footstar Orthotic Systems.

I planned to begin the trip on February 20th, but then disaster struck. I came down with shin splints and foot pain.  I took some time off, started training again and pushed the start back to March 13th only to develop a strain in my left knee.  At this point, I was incredibly frustrated. My dream of running across the country was turning into a nightmare. After a month off, I started training again and increased my mileage to 40 miles/week, but I was still getting aches and pains.  My doctor then referred me to Footstar Orthotics. I sent for my foam impression kit and 1 week later I had my custom orthotics.  I started my trip and the orthotics worked wonders.  I went from 40 miles/week up to an average of approximately 200 miles/week.  My biggest week was 275 miles.

Undoubtedly parts of my legs hurt from the strain of the run.  However, every time something would really ache, It is really incredible to think something so small can make such an incredible difference.  I can honestly say that I would not have been able to come this far in this run if it wasn't for my custom orthotics..

I'm 20 years old, from England and I am a member of the Fairfield University Men's Soccer team. After an intense summer schedule in 2007 I began having serious problems with my feet due to my very high arches and the intensity of the American style of soccer. I had been getting slight pain in the balls of my feet for a few years, but my arrival in the states and my introduction to turf fields had me in agony within weeks. Nobody is Perfect!  Me?  Orthotics?  No way, I'm only 49! 
You may be surprised. For years my ability to go for a walk or even get through a grocery store was becoming less tolerable.  Having danced thru the disco era in 3 inch heels, I figured the damage was done beyond repair.  My hips, knees, ankles and especially my feet hurt all day long. I wasted a lot of money on shoe inserts at the drug store for my toes, heels and arches that ended up in the trash. Then I found Footstar! Footstar sent me a foam impression kit which I mailed back free of charge. Footstar laser scanners read my foot impression and within a couple of weeks I had my new orthotics! I got a custom pair of full length orthotics for my sneakers, a pair for casual shoes and another pair for my dress shoes and sandals.  Within just a few days the changes were tremendous. The cost was much less than I had expected for a quality product and necessary addition to my shoes. Footstar is awesome!

I want to take this opportunity toexpress my most sincere appreciation for the miraculous change you have made in my life.The fatigue, the joint aches and pains and most especially the debilitating lower back pain had been piling up for the last 20 years or so. At 76 years old, I had written it off as old age at last catching up with me.

I was wrong.

Your custom orthotics and the results I experienced have been nothing short of astounding .I am walking in comfort I have not felt in years! The down side is that I no longer have an excuse to avoid working around the house and grounds. So far I have cut down a dozen mid-sized trees and re-landscaped our property, an accomplishment that would have been unthinkable before wearing your orthotics.
